Thought after a few years of building retro rides I'd try a weight weenie (ish) build.
Aiming for sub 9kg with pedals so not true WW but I wanted it to be rideable!!
Basis is a scott scale which isn't superlight at 1.25kg Inc axle cage and rear brake adaptor
But a good start

Should be doable, I have a MTB with a similar frame weight and sits at around 8.8kg with no exotic components.
