Hello :)

I would like to ask about lightweight shoes options. Probably Shimano RX8 (the former model weights 288g size 42 with insole) and new Specialized Recon will win in this category, but I think about a fully-featured mtb shoe. Any ideas here? How about Mavic Ultimate or somethong from NW range? Also, there's a case of insoles. E.g. red or black Solestars provide great support and added stiffness, but are twice as heavy (over 100g/pair) in comparison with Specializeds or Shimanos. Can you share your experience in this area?

RX8s and S-works recon lace are both just over 600g (ex cleats, inc std insoles) for a pair of 45s.

Sidi Drako and Tiger and Fizik X1 shoes I have had have been 8-900g per pair. Fizik winter boots are 600g each!!

My custom insoles are over 100g heavier than standard SidisImageImageImage
