A guess they will have only full kits for sale at first, so for a mixed setup you have to wait until they are sold separately.
Release is on 21.03 5pm CST

Maybe it's not the XX SL but the pure XX (successor of X0 line?), with a special bashguard: https://ruedasgordas.es/blog/view/se-fi ... -xx-y-xxsl

There will be XX SL, XX, X0.
XX SL without chainguard and XX with chainguard. At least that was mentioned on some ru site. https://twentysix.ru/blog/stuff/140787.html

Seems like XO has an alloy crank and alloy cage.

Not very fond of the X0 looks, the bashguard makes it look outdated - but a leaked photo is never to be trusted. I do like the black chain option - finally.

Looked at the SRAM sitemap, and found some new product codes. Some might be old items, that have just been removed.

I appreciate that this is all speculation and spy stuff until it launches next week but I am intrigued about compatability with standard mech hangers.
I have several frames running AXS including a couple of titanium frames with non replaceable standard mech hangers that I have absolutely no need to replace. Are SRAM effectively foregoing sales from bikes that cannot accept the universal derailleur hanger or will there be a solution?

Without knowing the specifics.. the 'old' also got 12 gears and AXS. So it is basically compatible with the same accessories. My guess: if at all, they will just update the old one to be compatible with the new chain and cassette if that is even necessary. Or just continue the old line.

There are some infos in a German thread:
https://www.mtb-news.de/forum/t/sram-ax ... 96/page-17
  • UDH only
  • Shifting unser load (they simulated with a car engine during testing (Marketing..)
  • Build to withstand hard impacts. Apperantly you can put 600kg on the RD side without damage

XO powermeter crankset looks very interesting to me. But will it work with previous gen 12s SRAM equipment (non-AXS)?
