So they say you need whole gruppo, but you can at least keep your older crankset and shifter.1,3: The new Transmission groupset is not reverse compatible, meaning you will need to upgrade the entire groupset at once.
2. The new Transmission derailleur is reverse compatible with the prior generation AXS Controller. Similarly, the new POD Controller can be used with the prior generation AXS derailleur.

4: To continue using your XX1 AXS Quarq crankset, you will either need to use a 104BCD E-Bike chainring or remove the power meter and use a direct-mount 8-bolt chainring. The groupset is compatible with a 52mm chainline but optimized for a 55mm chainline.

But when I look at BB compatibility for these cranks I see that they need sram wide dub bottom bracket:

and for my bike is intended standard dub bsa 73mm, not the wide version, what about this?

I have new XO transmission cassette and rear derailleur with old Boost Quarq with 52mm chainline and WolfTooth 104BCD round 34T DropStop-B chainring. Works fine, I see no reason for 55mm chainline.
I would like an oval chainring, but Wolftooth 104BCD oval chainrings have a step, that moves the chainring inboard about 1,9mm. then chainline would be around 50mm and that is way too close for my chainstay with 34T. For that I would need a 55mm chainline cranks.

SRAM has a good manual covering their bottom brackets that explains it all very well. My Hightower frame should be here next week and I've 90% talked myself into going with the X0 Eagle Transmission.

Got it already, smaller and ~10g lighter than the SRAM one - however, its capacity is 240 mAh instead of the SRAM 300 (?) mAh. I'm going to test it, we will see, how this stuff lasts.
Amazon's site says it's Li-Po but in reality, Li-Ion is printed to the battery's side.

Am curious what your experience will be... I wanted to buy one of those to get more clearance between the FD AXS battery and tire on my gravel (2-3mm with 44mm tires), but the reviews were pretty bad (on amazon.com).
