Integrated cables are the ultimate vainity excercise on a mtb. Literally NO performance gain for a litany of negatives. I'll wait until all the kinks have been worked out until going down that road. This could end up being the new pressfit, where they finally make it work right as everybody is transitioning away.

As a Lux World Cup CFR owner, had to remove the fork already for a cable removal. (Note: Lux CFR uses Canyon's new IPU2 design made by Acros, as far as I know.) I can confirm that, working with this new Headset concept is a true nightmare. Even if you have a professional repair stand, you'll need a buddy who will help you. I've sent my feedback to Canyon on this, even if I'm nobody in this world... However, it seems everyone else is getting on the train too.OnTheRivet wrote: ↑Thu Dec 22, 2022 12:16 amIntegrated cables are the ultimate vainity excercise on a mtb. Yeah the canyon system is a mess, I have worked on a lot of them
You Can see the brake hoses just under the bar, they arent integrated on that specialized.

Lightweight boutique parts are about as pointless. 1W gain for lower reliability and loads of cash.OnTheRivet wrote: ↑Thu Dec 22, 2022 12:16 amIntegrated cables are the ultimate vainity excercise on a mtb.
