Hi Everyone.
Im in the process of building a 2019 Scott spark, bought the frame-set and will be putting my own parts on it.

Only problem I have is i will be using a Rockshox SID ultimate SL (32mm) fork that has a 2 position lockout. I know I can buy the 3 position damper from Scott but they don't have any in stock and have no idea when they will. From what I have read its going to be hard to find one.

So I am thinking of changing the rear shock to be a 2 position one instead of the 3 position one and running a oneloc instead of the Scott twinloc. I know the shock I need would need to be 165x40 trunnion mount and wanted to see if anyone on here has done this before? There seems to be only 3 position 165x40 shocks out there. Would I be able to run a 165x42.5 shock, they have those in 2 position...

Thank you in advanced!

Yeah, I saw the same now, when you pick trunnion.

It shows:
SIZES (3-position Lever)
Trunnion Metric Sizes 165 x 40 / 165 x 42.5 / 165 x 45 / 185 x 50 / 185 x 52.5 / 185 x 55

SIZES (2-position Remote)
Trunnion Metric Sizes 165 x 45

I would assume you could use that 165 x 45 and add a spacer.

I looked into adding a spacer and the shops I talked to said it will work...
So if I get a 165x45 fox DPS and put a 5mm travel spacer on it, it will into a 165x40 shock. Anyone does this before?
