Got a SRAM crank with 3-bolt direct mount, looking for a 27t DM 1x chainring, boost 3mm spacing.
Anyone know a source?

Researched AbsoluteBlack, Blackspire, Garabuk, OneUp, WolfTooth and found only 26t or 28t.

it's not possible to make narrow wide chainrings in unevevn numbers, so that's why.

Huh, that never even occurred to me, thanks.

But just regular teeth would work, as I can mount a chain guide.
I ride uphill for training, and some of the trails are steep & long.

No one makes it because you're the only person who wants a non-narrow/wide 1x ring. Is this to be used with a 12spd cassette? Even a 28t ring is a crazy low gear with a 50,51,52t cog. Like no momentum.

LOL, I don't do pie-plates, and think the whole thing with 52t & more on the cassette is hoo-ha.

But this has been a forcing-function to try an oval 28t to see if that helps with climbing (as they are advertised to do).

NSB made 27T in DM, but not anymore.
Use 28t oval DM, or 27t 64bcd + 104-64 dm spider
