Looking to go SRAM Eagle, those cassettes are expensive. I have seen lots of good feedback on the road versions of those steel ZTTO cassettes. How about the XDR mountain versions?

I've used an 11-50t 12s Shimano version of the ZTTO cassettes this past season (https://www.aliexpress.com/i/4001278998057.html) so I can't speak to how their XD/XDR cassettes are manfactured, but I would say the shifting performance was adequate at best, but acceptable enough while you wait for part shortages to be resolved. The Shimano 11s freehub interface was also terrible - only two thin contact points with a floating aluminum tube section inbetween that would rattle unless packed with grease.

Took extra care to setup and would have to sacrifice shifting performance at one end of the cassette or the other. Also felt like shifting performace would be good enough after tweaking barrel adjuster, but would degrade after a ride or two and require additional tweaking...Granted, I came from an XTR cassette so maybe my expectations were too high.

I know the low weight of ZTTO cassettes are appealing, but if I had the option to buy a SRAM cassette, I'd go with the heavier equivalently priced SRAM cassette.

That's what I was afraid of. Thank you for the feedback. Not working at the bike shop anymore and having to pay retail for parts hurts, back to reality for me lol.

Even more appealing is the kit from garbaruk. I can get a big bailout gear for my old 11 speed group. Saving me from going 12 speed.

I have a RYET 9-46 11s cassette which looks closely related to the Ztto and I'm extremely happy with the perfomance.

Shifting is better than my e13 and Leonardi 9-xx cassettes. It's a bit heavier than those but not by much.

I have a Garbarak 10 to 50 12 speed XM driver on my Fat Bike. Works shifts very well with my SRAM X01 AXS derailleur and shifter. Worked well with my GX mechanical set up too. Being able to micro trim in each gear with the X01 AXS puts it on par and much less expensive that anything cassette from SRAM. The GX cassette shifted great too but was very heavy.

Are you sure that axs has trim in each gear? I thought it was just like a mechanical, I haven't seen it mentioned.

Perhaps I was unlucky, but my ZTTO 10-50 XD cassette was horrible. Used it for one ride, shifting up was fine, shifting to a smaller cog always required two shifts. Two cogs would skip at anything over 200w, all in all it was completely useless. Replaced with a GX cassette and everything worked perfectly, so I'm sure it wasn't due to a faulty mech/shifter or anything.
Chains to the right!

Sorry to hijack the thread. Tested the TRW one for 11-40T 11speed. The shifting is not as smooth as the XT 770-10speed which I am converting from.
However, the performance is good and reasonable pairing with the M8000 XT Shifter.

How is the cassette doing? I think of getting 10-50 version for my upcoming mullet build, gotta reduce some cost of this expensive build :)

I think that it's called SPEDAO now.

Other choice may be sunshine. Looks solid and like the spacing on climbing gears
