Hi! I need light and stylish mechanical lockout remote control for 2018 sid wc fork instead of right hand onelock device for front&rear and porky 70+gr weight..
Can anybody advice something tested?

Unless you want to run two Poploc levers the Oneloc you have us probably the better option.

DT Swiss and Scott/Syncros are the only others I’m aware of and I couldn’t tell you the weight of them. The Oneloc is by far the best looking in my opinion.

After installation onelock upside down on the left can say it’s not very light but works great after 3 pos fox 32.. 5 years ago i had hydraiulic lockout on 26” sid wc it was light and worked well too)

Not sure on weight but I just fitted a twistloc to my wifes bike (fork only there but it can do fork and shock). She loves it over the oneloc she had before.

I'm bringing this topic a bit up. I have a Rock Shox OneLoc https://www.sram.com/en/service/models/rm-1loc-a1 which controls the lockouts of a SID SL and SIDLuxe rear shock together. A bit bulky and also on the heavier side. 2nd option: use my Vecnum universal remote for the dropper and bu DT's remote. However, I don't know whether DT Swiss' remotes like this could work with the RS fork + shock, especially when this one supports open / drive / locked states (my fork + rear shock has open / locked modes only): https://r2-bike.com/DT-SWISS-Remote-Kit ... An another possibility would be, to have a lighter remote which could control the rear shock only (in this case, I would still have a separate Vecnum remote lever for the dropper) and I remove the RaceDay remote damper from the fork and install my spare 'normal' RaceDay damper, which is non-remote. The reason is simple: considering that, during the last few years I've almost never locked the fork out.

...regarding the weight weenies on the cables as well, I remember they were a cable option made from poliamid/nylon (or something similar ) but can't find it anywhere, anymore. Is there any weight weenies option for remote cables?

The Scott one has three positions. Open, rear shock half closed and fully closed fork and shock.

Does your rear shock have the ability to do that? And there is a 2022 version that is so much better instead of that one.

Went to a non-dropper build, also changed the SIDLuxe to a non-remote one. Surprisingly easy to operate without remote (however, maybe I'll say it differently if I do mistakes time to time on a race:D).
For trail riding I wanted to go for a Reverb AXS, maybe to the new Magura Veyron but both of them are too pricey and also heavy (~650g+ with remote). Then I had the idea: what if I would go for a non-remote dropper, as an oldschool solution?

The 350mm long one (100mm drop) would be too short so I'll have to go for the 385mm one (125mm drop) but still, 520 grams and ~160 EUR only (instead of 600-700 EUR, compared to Veyron and Reverb AXS options). Super easy to exchange the rigid post to this kind of dropper. I have a spare saddle, so this would be an absolutely nice solution to my needs, it seems.
(Too bad there are no any weight weenie solutions out there, I mean, a non-remote version from manufacturers like BikeYoke, Vecnum, etc.)

New 2022 Spark remote looks nice, and can be mounted to brake lever. But seems hard to find.

For my brand new WW hardtail project I need a simple lockout with 2 position (open/lock), controlling a 2020 SID Ultimate Carbon fork (which has been already tuned with the superlight gen1 RS RaceDay damper). I have an RS lockout but it is quite heavy.

I see one general downside of the Wolftooth remotes (most of their dropper remotes included).
The aluminum lever blade is too sharp/pointy. In a bad crash, it can scuff the top tube or even the left knee/thigh if you fall in a certain way.
I prefer a more rounded/blunt lever.

I have a Vecnum trigLOC ( https://r2-bike.com/VECNUM-Remote-Lever ... osts-black ) that I bought for controlling my old Vecnum moveLOC XC dropper, maybe I could figure out a locking mechanism 'hack' for using this, to control my SID.
