Re: Hookless and updated ISO Standards - Thomas De Gendt Crash
Curious as to what you think the airliner main job is ? because this tire looks to severely damaged I thought it was intended to give the tire some shape so that it stays on the rim. This tire still looks to be on the rim, but I cannot imagine it would stay there for long with the liner outside of ...

Jonas Rutsch in Sunday's Ghent-Wevelgem. His Vittoria Air Liners are doing their job... right?

Re: Light/stretchy shoe covers for spring
They're marketed as aero shoe covers, but the Spatzwear Windsocks do a great job at keeping out the chill when it's not freezing.

Re: Time road pedals - new design coming?
They've been on clearance for nearly a year now in Europe. And it's not just Xpro, it's all Time pedals. Most models are finally discontinued now ... so either SRAM are about to completely relaunch Time, or they're dumping the brand. I know which I think is more likely. I'd be amazed if it's the la...

Time road pedals - new design coming?
I see that many places have the Time Xpro pedals for sale at a big discount with much reduced stock so I'm assuming that there is a new design or model forthcoming from them. Has anyone seen or heard of a new design and when we might see it publicly? I wonder if it might be tied to the upcoming rele...

Re: 2024 Pro thread
Kung came down into his line, WVAs body went right a little and when he tried to get the bike back underneath him, the front tire washed out on a wet sea, between gutter and road. Just bad luck. Kung did nothing of the sort. Wout intentionally popped out of the gutter to get around Kung, he even sa...

Re: 2024 Pro thread
I think motors have been used every season by multiple teams and riders. Nobody's doing it as blatantly in big races now as some of the standout instances re: FC, LA and CF, but the stakes are too high for them not to be looking to take every advantage. Potential sanctions aren't really a deterrent...

Re: 2024 Pro thread
Harsh judgement. Points rankings say Hirschi is second best rider of team UAE. Maybe he didn't win big races last few years, but he won some and got good results in many more. There's only so much you can do, when those aliens show up everywhere nowadays. Hasn't he also had some big injury problems...

Re: 2024 Pro thread
Pog shaking in the post stage interviews. If the UCI won't let them throw proper jackets over their team branded kit for the formalities I'm surprised the teams aren't stockpiling some heated gilets or something to go on underneath instead. Surely not a huge surprise that a 2000m finish at this tim...

What is Silca mixing into their wax? Could a generic parafin wax do the same trick at a much lower price? https://www.chemiekontor.de/en/paraffin-6062-pastillen-1-kg?number=5060-1.0 I tried plain parafin wax a while back. I used the exact same process as I did with the original formulation MSW I wa...

One other thing to add: you know what could really clear all of this up? The GoPro footage from DeGent's crash!? Anyone see that anywhere?? https://www.bikeradar.com/news/vittoria-statement-de-gendt-crash-hookless-rims GoPros can record 60-80min worth of footage. It wasn’t on at the time. Yup - De ...

Re: Assos apparel questions
Anyone try the new EQUIPE RS SCHTRADIVARI BIB SHORTS yet? If so, how do they compare to the previous generation? I'm curious about the length of the legs. Assos are doing 'standard' and 'long' versions of this new bib. I found the S9 Targa bib short legs a bit too long for me compared to the origin...

Re: Stages R8100 L power meter
What batteries are you using? I moved away from Duracell with the bitter coating on them as it appeared to cause inconsistent readings. Since moving to another brand without the coating my Stages has been rock solid. What brand are you using? The major brands you most often see in NA - Duracell and...
