Re: Specialized Tarmac SL7 49cm 5.9kg

Yeah I did cheat by not weighing the brake fluid (~6g max), grease, or air in the tires (~12-14g), but otherwise every single component is accounted for. I will need to purchase a new scale to get a full weight on this though.

If you type your response UNDER the closing [/quote] tag, your response will be separate from the original quoted text and makes it much easier to read.

Re: Needing a Little Help From The Weight Weenie Experts

If you care about survival, I would not run Ciamillos using Tune brake housing with Corima pads on carbon wheels with TPU tubes. Thats literally every single thing you can do incorrectly if you value life.

Re: Needing a Little Help From The Weight Weenie Experts

You are not going to get to 5.5kg without throwing a lot of money at that. It is very likely you are missing many components in your spreadsheet. Do you mind sharing it so we can have a look? The EC90SLX fork is a good option, the older version without the internally threaded steer tube is lighter. ...

Re: EXS Aerover Cockpit

My apology if this has been discussed in one of the pages, but does these fit a slammed sl7 stem ? Yep, you will need to remove the headset cover to EXS integration spacer and also sand the 1 1/8" reducer, but it fits no problem. See my thread: https://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php...

If you buy official Sram Dub bb from Sram, nah. The spacer is so integrated that you better not remove it.
Nope, pops right off.

No issues with my SL7 either. It is tight but not worryingly so.

Re: Supernaut - Anyone?

Totally, I'm a fan or downsizing a bike frame and running a longer stem. Even with that, I simply could not make this bike work, and I don't know that you could either @dudemanppl. Based of your builds, you'd be looking at their smallest size, with a 130mm stem that Enve hopefully offer in a pretty...

Re: Supernaut - Anyone?

To get to >380mm of reach, you're looking at size "56" and it has a stack of 572mm... Which is a solid 50mm higher than a comparable length SL8 or similar. Wait what? SL8 in a 56 has 565mm of stack. Reach numbers are good, it just means you can run a longer stem. I see no downsides. You're not foll...

687mm I think, measured from center of BB through mid rail on saddle to the top.
