Re: electric assist to level the playing field for group rides

My initial reaction to this post is "all bikes are fun" so I don't have any issues with e-assist. However, I realize that I need to clarify that it "depends." In my group, there's a couple of super solid riders that time has finally caught-up with... they just can't put out the same wattage. They re...

Color me intrigued. Looking forward to comparisons... especially against one of the 800lb gorillas - Roval.

Same here, but Roval CLX32.

Fast wearing, but they perform well.

I use SwissStop Black Prince FlashEvo on Bontrager XXX4 rims.

Quite soft, but I'd rather run through pads than rims!

Re: *Tour Aero Bike Tests*

I know they haven't tested the v4rs but does anyone know how colnago v3rs performed in the test? Boonen said V4RS is costing Pogi some watts, but then followed-up with a "my bad I'm sure it's fine." Re: Berk PROTO-TYPE Composites

For what it's worth, I'm a firm belie...

Re: *Tour Aero Bike Tests*

I am also interested about this since Foil is one of the bikes I might be interested in. Local shop had a 2022 RC20 in my size (61) which is super hard to find. I rode it, liked it...a lot. So I bought it. Beware though that any stem/bar changes are NOT included on these aero bikes it's a pay for c...

CLX2? Which model are you talking about?

Are you saying the shallower CLX32 is faster than the deeper CLX50?

Thx

Re: *Tour Aero Bike Tests*

Guys my local Scott dealer has a 2022 Foil RC20 in stock in size 61 with Rival eTap. They are also trying to figure out availability on the 2023 models, but so far looking like July. I'm tempted to get this 2022 next week when I'm back in town. Can anyone post the tour mag test results for the 2022...

I've been chastised for using that term (maybe by you?! lol)... :beerchug:

I like the term, but don't use it anymore because I don't want my hand digitally slapped.

Re: How often do you recharge your Garmin?

I'm charging my Garmin 530 Edge after every 2nd or 3rd ride, but I'm uptight. lol. It's monitoring inputs on cell phone (caller ID and texts - LOVE THIS FEATURE), heart rate, power, and eTap while running some widgets. About a quarter of the time I'm running a map, too. I've set the screen backlight...
