It shows reliable and accurate data, it's wireless, works great with my Edge, looks fine and was 1/3 of the price of the SRM system. Plus I can change batteries in just 2 minutes. I was in between Powertap and P2M and chose the latter 'cause I've been using PT hub for 3 years and wanted a power meter in crank. Can't say a bad word about this device, but we'll see what will happen in the future. My friend has been using one for 6 month and it works great as well.

Lovely bike. And lovely GF, if I might add.

i have been using my p2max for about half a year as well, without any problems. seems to be absolutely reliable.
nice bike! settings convey an impression of serious riding.
Just wanted to let you know a few things about the bike:
1st - p2m has been doing really great. 5000km since the end of August with no problems, no signal losses, no creaking etc. Superb!
2nd - Have recently exchanged Gore inner wires for stock Campy ones as the rear der. wire got torn inside the shifter :/ The same thing happened to my friend (Gore as well, but Sram Red). Don't know if it was just bad luck or the quality of Gore inner wires is just poor. BUT what's most important, the system works great with normal Campy wires! No friction and finally problems with poor shifting have gone away. Once set up it works great both up and down.
I've been thinking about changing the racing3 wheels for something else. Do you think tubular alu rims are good choice for everyday use hoops? Ambrosio crono f20 or Nemesis rims/sapim spokes/ dt240 or bikehubstore.com hubs. Do you guys think it would look ok on the bike? New bullet or red wind hoops are nice, but the price of ultra/xlr versions is too high.

Interesting,
I have also problems with my R3 and the Gore stuff. For the first 1000km it was fine but now shifting quality is just poor...
If you don't mind, here is a picture of mine...

I've been thinking about a similar build myself. I think a nemesis 240 wheel set would look/ride awesome.

My experience with the bikehubstore.com hubs. Service was good. The guy ships fast to Canada.
The only problem I see with these hubs is a minor play in the bearings after about 2000 km. That was with a lot of rain riding. So I might have to change them beginning of next summer.
Weight was right on.
I would buy again.
