Aren't the cables going to be weird with a rapide cockpit?

It shouldn't cause any issues, but we'll see! The cables exit a couple cm ahead of the steerer under the stem portion of the cockpit and can shoot straight down to the fork and downtube port, closer to the steerer than the SL6 in this thread. I think I have seen Kata Blanka Vas racing cross on this setup this year.
Is anyone runniing Teravail Rutland 700x47 on their Crux? How have they been and what's clearance like? 700x47 is at the upper end of what the Crux can fit, I'm not sure if these tyres come up big or small. I'm thinking of grabbing a set for when my G-One R's wear out. Living in the UK I think I need something a bit more mud-capable.

Hi guys,
Wanted to change the plastic rubbish compression ring that comes with the stock headset. I'm not able to find the specs of this item. I know it's a 1 1/8" inner diameter, but no data of the conical angle and so forth...
Do you guys have any recomendations for a new aluminum compression ring?
Thx in advanced!

Rolling on Rene Herse Hatcher pass tires. 700x48mm. Measured yesterday at 49mm. Still plenty of clearance.

Thanks for chipping in with your experience.
I know the schwalbe thunderburt measures narrow so I was hoping somebody had tried that specific tyre.
I actually just found a post that showed the thunderburt 2.35 measuring only 57mm, so maybe there is hope with a 2.1?

I have a crux comp in matt balck with grey panels. Really pleased with the bike and it's stock except for upgrading the wheels to jra monitors and tyres to Schwable G One R. I would like to change the front ring at some point but can't work out how to get the chain ring bolt behind the crank arm out ( Rival ), any ideas? My only other point is the grey panels on the frame seem to mark really easily. The marks look like black scratches and I can only get rid of them with acetone. I'm not using any frame bags but I am riding in all weathers ( Kent North Downs ). I've trawled through this thread but no one mentions it, do I have a paint finish issue or is this common? I'm thinking of using invisframe on the grey panels - any advice would be welcome, thanks

I'm almost sure of swapping my Di2 2x for an AXS 1x in my Crux, with a mullet rear groupset (still not sure if 10-50 or 10-52).
In case I want a 46 tooth chainring, should I get the standard DUB or Wide DUB? Is there any chainring limitation with the standard DUB crankset?

In our shop we have installed plenty of 42 on regular width DUB cranksets.
For at 44/46 we use the WIDE version to be on the safe side. The 44 is so close a fit on the regular crankset that we dont recommend it and the 46 is just a no go on the regular width.
But you can go SRAM aero 48 tooth on the WIDE as well if you want
