FYI
my wife had a 50/34 crankset and 11/28 cassette (10s ultegra), but complained in the mountains of not having short enough gears. Also she is never in 50/11-12. So I hacked a cassette out of a 13-25 (junior type ultegra) and 11-32 (tiagra) to obtain this:
13-14-15-16-18-20-22-25-28-32
The cassettes are originally pinned in one block (3 pins), but I sawed the pins easily with a hand saw, pulled them out.
Surprisingly the ultegra 6700 RD handles it just fine (on a 52 trek domane frame).

Cool mod!
My 6800 mid-cage RD could shift a 36t cog, so I'm not very surprised the 6700 can do 32.

SRAM makes 10 speed cassettes that get this done: http://www.competitivecyclist.com/sram- ... d-cassette
You can get:
11-32 includes: 11,12,13,15,17,19,22,25,28,32
11-36 includes: 11,13,15,17,19,22,25,28,32,36
12-32 includes: 12,13,14,15,17,19,22,25,28,32
12-36 includes: 12,13,15,17,19,22,25,28,32,36
For Shimano, I had to go to a MTB derailleur to fit the 11-36.
My Ultegra 6800 GS (mid) will not handle 36 (Specialized Roubaix frame). 32 is no problem. In fact it's the reason I own the GS model.
basilic, did you happen to weigh your completed cassette?
