Light 2x Chainset options

Exploring what options could drop a worthwhile amount of weight from my FSA gossamer chainset, where my definition of worthwhile is >150g. I like the range of the 2x as I ride on mtb trails for training where I need the 36. Can't remember the last time I dropped down from a 46 in a race though.

Looks like the force 22 CX would be slightly lighter then the ultegra 6800 or fulcrum cx chainsets.

Thoughts or are all of you on 1x10/11?

What's the BB arrangement on your bike? BSA? BB86? BB30? .........etc.

BSA? Congratulations!!! Actually BSA is making a strong come back in the MTB world.

Your FSA Gossamer is ... 800g ?

My Ultegra 6800, 170mm, 50/34... 678g. Highly recommend it. Not only is it available in 46/36 at a great price, but also shifts amazingly.

You can also consider RED GXP used. Also good price for the weight, but they don't usually come with CX chain rings.

Force 22 isn't that light, old Red neither (around 500g each without rings). Shimanos are heavy too.

The lighest "affordable" option would be a new Red (hidden bolt) where the naked GXP crank weighs 400g, then you add chainrings & bolts.
