Hi
I bought some DT Swiss XR 331 rims (MTB) and I am having problems getting them to work with my Specialized Terra Pro 2bliss cyclocross tires.
Shouldn't MTB tubeless and cyclocross tubeless work together?

I've done ztr crest tubelessly with vittoria cx (non tubeless)
The bead was very very tight on the rim and took some effort/pressure to seat.
How tight was your tyre on the rim? If it's too tight it might be difficult to seat.

It might be helpful to say WHAT the problem is....don't you think?

Even with the non-tubeless tyres it took some pressure to ping them onto the rim. Needed some lubricant and about 4 bar IIRC.
Tubeless beads are stiffer and (usually) tighter.

When I have a tire that won't seat, I install it with soapy water and a tube. Let is sit overnight, the take the tube out by only breaking one side of the bead. If air only leaks out of one side, it stands a better chance.
