Another Brim Brothers alike...

This may be even worse. The cleat itself contains the strain gauges, and you have to buy replacement nubs as they wear out from engagement or walking. Also 15 hour battery life...lol.

Anyone know if Quarq will come out with anything new?

The DZero/DFour platform is a year old...

Doesn't mean they can't introduce a lower price-point model like p2m....

If you want FSA gossamer cranks... The cost of an NG Eco plus Red-level crankarms is going to be closer to $800-900.

You can get the NG Eco and Rotor cranks for $640. That's pretty damn good. Or the K-Force Light for $790.

And that's still cheaper than all Quarq options save the Aluminum DZero.

Even their SRAM option is cheaper.

I'm just saying :noidea:

Yeah, I'm not saying the NG Eco isn't cheaper, but I think it's close enough considering the w/crank options where SRAM/Quarq aren't feeling the heat. In addition, I don't think the NG Eco will even support the new 8-bolt "Prime" crank/spiders, just the older Force/Rival/CX1 3-bolt designs.

It's actually why I've just gone ahead and preordered Vector 3s to replace my Vector 2s. Not only is this a lighter option than going with a spider PM (unless I use those awful Blade 2s,) it's also not really more expensive for me. If I go Quarq, even with a friendly 20% discount, I have to switch pedals and buy a whole new crankset. The same goes for the NG Eco. Even if I go with the Rotor 3D24 option, that means a BB bearing replacement, pedal replacement and increased weight over my Red cranks plus Vectors.

Any guess what would be the weight of Power2max NG Eco with Rotor 3D24 cranks and compact Dura Ace chainrings? My DA 50/34 crankset is around 615g + Stages 2ng gen. My very rough estimation is around +200g If i go with NG Eco + 3D24..

DZero Red is around 150g heavier than normal Red, so I'd expect the NG Eco to be similar.

Only thing they announced was a Dfour for 9100 chainrings and a few spiders for cranks like specialized. Don't think anything was announced at Eurobike. Maybe at Interbike?

Regarding p2m, the S is in the sub 600$, how would you compare to the new ngECO?

Finally got my Assiomo Duos. Will call them AssDuo's for short.

Not on the bike yet, but hopefully this weekend. First time with a PM on the bike, very excited. Hoping it helps me pace myself to avoid cramping.
