Looking at pictures of the World Champ U23 and Womens Elite TT I was amazed by quite some of the equipment used.
Apparently the Walser bars are the most famous TT bars in the womens elite peloton! Soeder, Kupfernagel, Doppman, Thurig (new Walser bars for her!! - see this picture) all had them.
Kristin Armstrong rode Oval A901 (very good bars as well) on her Fuji/Cervélo. I guess the grey think on the forks is a time chip.
And I love Kupfernagels all white Walser bike and bars.
Can't wait to see more!!

Holy smokes batman....that Cervelo almost looks better as a Fuji
But apart from that, thanks for the shots Casran - for one, now that I've seen the new walser bars in action they actually seem functional to me rather than decorative.

This board would be a nicer place if everyone would take themselves less seriously.

By the way, I think this girl needs a mechanic who can run the cables THROUGH a Bonty aerobar! Laughing Sad
Is she trying to cover the fact she just borrowed a helmet from an non identified German team? Laughing
No Kidding! I think shes got all kinds of issues going on with her setup, she just looks out of it. Her skinsuit looks a little big too.
Superflies!

You'd want to hope so. They look horrible. Old Walser bars, beautiful.
But, who cares what they look like when yor on them and if they get you a few seconds, great.

look a bit like Mickey Mouse's..
Particularly given "wearing gloves in a time trial will slow you down more than using a nonaero front wheel. " http://www.bicycling.com/article/0,6610 ... -1,00.html
No scales on the trails

There's a lot going on in this picture...
old 14 spoke corima wheel up front
Campy ghibli in the back but with a dura-ace derailer
Dura-ace tt ring up front on carbonlord(?) cranks?
- Zipp rims will break if you look at them too hard
- R-Sys wheels will spontaneously explode
- The ZG crankset will never, ever exist
- Everyone needs Lightweights, even if they're fat and old
- Parts actually made of metal are SO 10 years ago

Last time I checked China was a communist country. I'm not sure they approve of bling over there.
