I spoke with a US BMC rep who had a Time machine built up with the custom cranks this past weekend. Here is what he told me:

The designers will not tell him what is inside the crank. It looks like a campy crank but he told me a campy Crank bolt will not fit it.

He also said they are trying to bring the crank with the integrated TT ring to market as an upgrade to the Time Machine (i had previously said I thought this was VERY doubtful) but it will cost in excess of $2500.

I was pretty amazed as well, but we are talking about a $12K frame and fork.
