I'd love to give the Hope Centrelock rotors a go, but they don't do a 140mm version (for the rear)
Hope road rotors are in 140mm and 160mm.
for example: https://www.bike24.com/p2754335.html
:beerchug:

Last time I looked, they didn't have the 140mm CL's

They seem to be geo-blocked to Aus though through Bike24, but will now look at other suppliers.

EDIT : Wierd. The MTB ones also come in 140 & 160mm but aren't geoblocked, but the 140mm RX one is ... :unbelievable:

EDIT #2 : And in good WW tradition, the MTB ones are lighter than the road - (MTB/Road) 140mm 99g/104g, 160mm 123g/127.5g Nowhere near lightweight, but will buy some soon for the Llewellyn !

Bike-discount was cheapest for MTB ones, that I found in EU. https://www.bike-discount.de/en/hope-fl ... scheibe-2
They have road ones only in 160mm for some reason.
R2bike has both options as well:

Hope are first and foremost a MTB brand but have moved into Gravel/CX equipment in the past few years. Maybe aren't making 140mm rotors anymore as they're rarely used in those environments so sellers won't be restocked with them once they sell out.

140/140 is SRAM’s official recommendation for CX.

Interesting. I've always used 160/160 for CX racing and so would most of the other riders I race with

I'd almost give them a go at that price, but no 140mm version

Presuming you are talking the Hope Rotors ?

From R2bike, the rotors are 73 Euro ea (with our 10% GST/VAT), with 30 Euro shipping.

Bike24 is he rotors are 80 Euro ea(with our 10% GST/VAT), with 40 Euro shipping.

$A = 0.605 Euro

Any british site, the rotors are GBP - 70 - 75 ea.

Then RT-MT900 (XTR) replace that old Dura-Ace rotor. It dial back a lot on fin size but it is structurally stronger.
Finally, RT-CL900 become new generation Dura-Ace. This one, for the same diameter, is heavier than RT-MT900 and is even stronger.

So, RT-MT900 vs RT-CL900 ?
For the same rotor size, then if you want it stiffer -> RT-CL900. If you want it lighter -> RT-MT900.
However, that's not the common comparison on MTB.
It turns out it's actually RT-MT900 180mm vs RT-CL900 160mm. They are at similar weight...
It is clear that RT-MT900 180mm brake stronger. So, downhill and E-bike should aim for larger diameter RT-MT900.
However, smaller RT-CL900 of the same weight (and thus heat capacity) stay more straight and having less chance of getting brake rub. So it's more appropriate for bike that don't need as much braking power but prefer to not have brake rub.
Is this an agreed upon summary of 900 series MT vs CL rotors? My 2023 DA equipped bike came with RT-MT900-S 160mm rotors but I prefer the look of the CL rotors and have been wondering about the performance and weight differences.

This solved the issue for me, used with shimano resin pads.

I absolutely hated the RT-MT900 I gave up on them after 300 miles.
