Why would you repaint the frameset?
This voids the Specialized warranty? :noidea:
I learned, n-e-v-e-r alter a Specialized bicycle product.
Specialized Canada warrantied a Power Expert saddle (3 mths old) & Ares Cycling shoes (1 day old) for me.

If you do it at a specialized approved place you are fine.

Why? Because you get a one of kind frameset that looks absolutely stunning. Those pictures alone are the why. That thing is gorgeous.

Whenever, I see a custom paint job, I think counterfeit...sorry!
IMO, Specialized warranty is generous.
If my frameset ever F*cks-up, SL8?? :unbelievable:

You are aware that they literally sell a frame called RTP "Ready To Paint", right?

Custom paint equals counterfeit? Man, I feel bad for you if you look at every custom paint job and think that. That's a terrible outlook. If I had the money, I'd get a custom job. It's unique and 1 of 1.

On a related note, are we sure this voids the warranty? I remember reading that it actually doesn't void the frame warranty, just the lifetime paint warranty Specialized offers. So you can still warranty the frame for defects, but can't claim anything for paint related issues.

I thought people bought RTPs, because they wanted the "lightest version SW Tarmac SL7/SL8". :noidea:

because I don't care about warranty :P . my bikes never broke (Lucky me)

and I bought this frame since 2020 September, I think Specialize's warranty only covers for 3 years?

MOST IMPORTANTLY, I really don't like the original color...I want to change it since the day I bought the frame

How would you compare the SL7 (not S-Works) to the Scott Addict RC? (Aero, ridequality, stiffness, etc.)
Would the SL7 be an upgrade?
