Except you can’t change the stem on te aeroad, you get what u get
That's true. However, on an Aeroad, you have 15mm spacers to play with.robbosmans wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 12:24 pmExcept you can’t change the stem on te aeroad, you get what u get

And on all other bikes you have 30-45mm to play with. I don't see what's your point here.Ytse wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 8:02 pmThat's true. My point is that geometry-wise, an Aeroad and a Venge are very similar and can be set up the almost the same in terms of bike fit as well.pmprego wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 8:09 pmAnd on all other bikes you have 30-45mm to play with. No they can’t, you can’t change one of the fundamentals of a bike fit: the stem length
Venge is higher stack and significantly lower reach. You also can't play much with stem length on the aeroad as unless you go for the base non-quill steerer / stem option, then you can only use their cockpit.Ytse wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 9:51 amMy point is that geometry-wise, an Aeroad and a Venge are very similar and can be set up the almost the same in terms of bike fit as well.pmprego wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 8:09 pmAnd on all other bikes you have 30-45mm to play with. Latest Venge (size 54): 387mm reach, 534mm stack. Aeroad 2021 CFR/CF SLX (size S) 390mm reach, 539mm stack. So in reach, difference is 3mm, in stack 5mm. I'd not call any of this "signifcant", or at least, intolerable for any human who is otherwise flexible enough to maintain low aero position on such a bike. And, thus - reverting to the original point of discussion - I consider the Aeroad a worthy option to examine for someone, who is not able to source a 2nd hand Venge right now.RDY wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 12:42 pmVenge is higher stack and significantly lower reach. Should be around 900-950 Gramms, for the frame. There is no difference between Pro and S-Works outher than the logo for the Venge.robertonavaz wrote: ↑Tue Aug 30, 2022 11:15 amWhat is the actual weight of a pro in this colour?

For the rear you will need the adapter shown in the picture attached.Shimano_Scheibenbremsadapter_f_r_Flat_Mount[640x480].jpgwintershade wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 6:22 amHas anyone gotten 160 rear rotors on their 2020 Venge? If so, what parts/adapters do I need?

Ok if no surprises comes I’m gonna get this beast:
The stem is 9cm so I need a change (I’m on 12): is there something with the same integration and lighter?
Same story for the crankset: need a shorter compact (it’s 175 and 53/38). Anything lighter a part from clavicula?
Thanksssssss
(Than I’ll sell the dt Swiss too for something lighter and deeper)

For the bars, the nice thing is that it comes with a headset cover for regular stems. You can route nearly any bar.robertonavaz wrote: ↑Sat Sep 10, 2022 9:54 pmOk if no surprises comes I’m gonna get this beast:

I went with the RSL VR-C which is around 285g and routes cables the same way. But unfortunately it is being recalled.
For lightest weight, maybe Darimo Nexum.
