I'm putting new discs and pads on my CAAD12. I can't for the life of me work out which pads I should be fitting though.

Calipers are:

Front - Shimano BR785
Rear - Shimano BR805

Removing the current pads doesn't help, they're genuiune Shimano ones but the numbers on them don't appear to be part numbers and don't correlate to anything that's currently available.

These are the rears:

...and these are the fronts:

What pads should I be searching for, and are there any worth changing to rather than using Shimano again? These have squealed like crazy.

I got caad12 1 year ago and the original pads were sintered instead of resin.

try cleaning the pads and rotor if they make too much noise.

Thanks, I've cleaned them numerous times and they still squeal. I think the pads are contaminated with something. I initially bought the bike used and then moved the components over to a new frame.

Have now worked out which pads I need - thanks, all sorted.

The number on the bottom is the part number.

try align calipers more parallel to the rotor... that should reduce noise as well... good luck.

With which products do you clean the rotors?

(I clean the rotors with brake cleaners for motorbike brake rotor)
