I ride a 3x11 campy athena, and not willing to go double. I was wondering about changing part of this groupset for:
Microshift bar end 11s shifters (unindexed left, works with triple),
Flatbar auxiliary (cross) levers mounted on the drops,
Some light shimano RD (or sram, is the cable pull still the same for 11s?)

I dont mind not having "hoods" as I dont stay there, and I know this will look ugly, exposed brake cables and all.

But has anyone here done it just to save those grams? Athena triple shifters are about 390g for the pair and the RD some 195 I think.
Microshifts are about 145g and there are auxiliary levers below 90g for the pair. I think there are long cage RD under 170 too, eighter mountain or road (microshift offers both shifter pulls), so I was hoping to cut some 200g depending on the parts.

So... Has anyone done it?
