Although it not looks like a really thin plate between the stem and face plate (picture 14/17)

And it seems like more riders from Team Sky are racing the new set-up in La Vuelta (Froomey & Wout Poels): https://keyassets.timeincuk.net/inspire ... 025p-1.jpg

Has anybody tested if the K-edge sport Garmin fits? It seems thinner than the normal K-edge mount

For what it's worth, I just mounted these bars today. I have a lupine betty with a narrow AL mount similar looking to the k-edge, and it fits fine next to the stem. I'm using the new vibe stem as well.

There isn't a ton more room for a wider mount, but the lupine works. It measures 8mm in width.

I have a k-edge race mount on the way, anyone know the width on that? Otherwise hopefully this new stem mount becomes available.

Here is a shot

Yes, that's the mount. Very nicely made, but not terribly helpful for a garmin.

I emailed back and forth with F3. He says their mount will work on the upper rear facing bolts. That places the mount above the bar. I ordered it and will let you know with photos.

update 0418. It did not fit. Not even close.

I Definitely couldn‘t live with the standard Garmin mount on my Pro Vibe aero handlebar and I did not want to wait until Jan/Feb until Pro finally release the K-Edge/Pro mount for the Pro Vibe stem/ handlebar so that I decided to file a standard K-Edge Garmin mount until it will fit the Pro Vibe aero handlebar. I also use some tape between the handlebar and the Garmin mount.

It takes times but it works!

Now I can fully enjoy my cockpit.
And in Jan/ Feb I can replace it with the new Garmin mount.

And you did do a paint job of the Vibe stem front plate and the K-Edge holder as well. No shiny parts anymore but a full black stealth look and feel. :)

Yepp ! [emoji41] I never liked the K-Edge branding on their mounts anyway...

Looking at getting another set of the Pro Vibe compact alloy bars and the new stem.

I believe the new bar and stem combo have routing for Di2, but I've yet to see pictures of how this is done. Do the cables exit the bars and route thru the stem or what? Where do they exit the stem??

There is a hole behind the bar clamp. Cable feed through stem and get out near top cap then Enter the steerer tube through special headset expander which also hold battery inside steerer tube (optional).

older MTB version.

new Road Pro Vibe.

Battery is now rest inside steerer tube and connected. But how should we run cable to the frame is another issue, port on top of the stem is big enough for two cables, recess slot on the headset expander too but there is no way to route from inside steerer tube to the frame (normally). Maybe some special custom headset would do the trick? Until then, it's one line connect from bar to the frame as usual (heat shrink with brake cable to hide it).
PS. frames with top tube cable entrance like Giant Propel would easily enjoy short exposed cable from stem to the port too if you drill a hole out from top cap.

PS2. i don't think we can do much better than that without help from frame designer, see Trek Madone's headtube design.

Thanks. So....if I'm running older Dura Ace without the bar end junction box, is the new Vibe set up pointless?
