Orbea has finally stepped up its game. Great looking bike.

Love it.
Wondering about the design though. The idea was to go beyond 3:1 apparently but the marketing says this (in regards to the fork),
The new UCI legal fork designed according to the new regulations provides all competitors with a 3:1 advantage ratio.

been eyeing the 2017 Orca for about 4 months and just now have the money to pull the trigger and now they release this... put an inquiry to my local dealer for it. They didn't publish the weight on this thing so it's certainly more than the normal Orca which was only a tad under 1kg... should still be be less than my 7.64kg round-tube steel bike at the end of the day

One of the put-offs in the case of Orbea is that they cannot but drastically alter every new Orca model in relation to the previous one. Their design identity is nonexistent
The pricing on the Orbea Orca Aero is very very competitive.
DuraAce Di2 version @ $7,999
Ultegra Di2 version @ $4,999
Ultegra R8000 @ $3,999
105 5800 @ $3,299
Very solid pricing, especially when you compare against its competitors from Cervelo, Specialized, Felt, Trek....etc. The MyO custom paint program is a nice touch as well.

True. Had a 2008 Orca in our workshop last week with its lovely flowing, swooping lines. Still looks good now, was incredible at the time! Wish they'd kept some of that going instead of changing completely to straight lines and angles, then super slim line, now super deep tubes.

Not like he has the WW selection of parts there. That stem itself is a whale. I'm sure one could build the bike close to 6.8kg with the right selection of parts. Bouhanni obviously has a different set of priorities.
