may be it is a matter of culture, but why this froggy green? and why they just didn't keep it simple? I like the tube shaping, I am ok with the stem, but the paint scheme and froggy green is stopper for me. i hope it will be better in reality. i like some of their Liv bikes, they should borrow their designers:) i guess they will not sell a frameset with different colors.. Eurobike is behind the corner, we will see what others have for us. Interested in Scott Foil Disc.

They have done well with the 2018 carbon Defys, *some* of the 2018 TCRs, but the Propels look terrible.

I've seen better graphics on Easter eggs than these 2018 Propels.

to this amateurish garish monstrosity.

taking risks on a new aero disc platform. does giant secretly want this new line to fail in the market?
does anyone from Giant monitor this forum. how difficult is it to just carry forward last year colorways.

That is horrifying. The color matched proprietary wheels will cause me nightmares. Big miss Giant on an otherwise interesting bike. Why can't more builders stick with more subdued, classic offerings...or at the same time at least offer custom options for those that want simple? Looks like I may be headed towards an Orbea.

Lol at everyone complaining about colors and graphics. I could care less about that stuff.

yeah, it seems there is also an orange SL version, with ultegra di2, which is much better priced than dura di2 top model.

What am I missing - you go from the SL Disc 1 to the Disc O with the only difference being Ultegra Di2 to Dura Ace Di2(with Power Meter) and it goes from $7,000 to $11,300? The street price difference between Ultegra Di2 to Dura Ace Di2 shouldn't be much more than $1,000-1,200 - so the power meter is $3,000? WOW! That's really pushing it - especially when Stages introduced a full Dual Sided 9100 Crank today for $1,299 - and that includes the Crank - effectively they are only charging $600-700 for the power Meter.

And retailers wonder why top specced bikes aren't flying off the shelf anymore. It used to be that if you went up one level of group you might pay half or 1/2- 3/4 of the street price difference, or $500-$750 so you got a bit of deal and upgraded and the Retailer and Manufacturuer earned more marginal revenue.

The Disc 0 should bemaybe $900 - $1,000 more for the Groupset Upgrade and $1,000 for the power meter.

Interesting to note that the new disk wheels have 2:1 lacing front and rear, similar to the new disk wheels just introduced by Campy. The front has 21 spokes (14 left; 7 right) and the rear has 24 spokes (8 left; 16 right). Campy uses more spokes (24 front and 24 rear).
