Folks,

A question, please. I purchased an EW-WU111 for my 9070 system (I also ordered the new battery). Am I able to place the EW-WU111 inline with the battery and the junction box? (which is somewhere around my BB) Or does it need to go inline from the shifters?

Thanks a lot!

In line anywhere works, as long as wireless signal is not blocked (metal frame, distance, etc.).

I had to move it from the seat tube to the head tube because the signal was not strong enough.

As long as you have one end plugged in it will work. Some runs a short wire from shifter to the wu1111.

I'm running the new Foil so not sure Head Tube will work. I wonder If I can fit it in the Aero Handlebars. Just how small is this WU111?

I run it just after the battery in the seatpost with a 15mm wire. Works perfectly. Carbon frame.

Didn't know they did a 150mm, will find that and get one. Thanks!

Yeah, I meant 150mm! My bad. Installed it all last night anyway, works an absolute treat. Have mine tucked under the seat post, seems to work fine from my Garmin head unit so no issue with the rainge of it.
