IMO Shimano data is clean. SRM data is more noisy with dropouts, see pic.

This is just the 9100P data? Do you have SRM data for comparison?
Also do find the 9100P gives lower readings than your SRM?
That pic shows SRM power / cadence data. Shimano not lower.
Here is Shimano data for comparison. Less noise no drops.

2009 Look 595
I’m currently tossing up between this and the new 4iii Podium dual-sided. The latter is £249 cheaper here.
So far I don't see an error. My split varies with zone. Typically 50.5% in Z4, 52.5% in Z1. Total in both zones matches Tacx Neo Smart trainer power within 2 or 3%.
Here is an example showing Shimano versus Tacx target, average difference is 2%.

Have not downloaded the data for my first 4 rides, but as previous poster, the power output of my Shimano powermeter is similar to my SRM DA 9000, both of which measure to within 1-2% of my Tacx Neo, yet the Shimano PM is a tad lighter, rechargeable, not to mention US $1500 less than my SRM!
Aside from helping address fit issues for someone with a demonstrated physiological impediment, why do we care so much about L/R balance? As long as the metrics are repeatable, aside from possibly riding on a trainer with the original power cranks, there are as yet to be any proven training regimens to correct such imbalances.

I've wondered this as well. Sort of topic drift, but I recall reading about someone who suffered a serious injury that required hip replacement surgery. As part of the recovery, a coach had him ride on a CompuTrainer and SpinCast apparently indicated a significant imbalance, possibly due to a leg length discrepancy after the surgery. The coach suggested power cranks (PCs) which have cams such that you can only pull up, not push down during a pedal stroke, and despite hours training with those things and a brief return to racing, long term it didn't help.
