I’ve not had any issues once I got the derailer adjustment tweaked

No problem. I think it looks pretty good. The dropped stays and everything seem proportional.

After some good miles on my ultralight, my overall impression is that...it could be better: i find the first few pedal strokes not as ‘responsive’ as some other str bikes like the cervelo r5 or factor o2 for example. Make no mistakes the sl6 is as stiff as you can get, but it lacks that oomph when you smash the pedal hard. It rides more like an aero bike in this regard where you have that sluggish feeling at first. But once you get it up to speed though it begs for continuous attack. Its very fun and composed at high speed.

Overall, impressed but not terribly so. Perhaps the marketing did get to ny head too much. High expectation and all that.

I saw a new review posted which is quite positive -- http://www.cyclingweekly.com/editors-ch ... iew-358657

Note that they discuss the weight differently -- "Specialized weighed a batch of size 56cm frames and says the average weight for this batch was 766g."

the review is for a non-ultralight - so what frame does this weight relate to ?

usual Specialized non-specific made up numbers IMO

Looks good mbdurham17! That Seasucker is scary the first time you put your bike on the car with it and drive, but it has worked great for me so far.

Hi,
Beautiful bike!
Would be keen to hear more about the Fulcrums, I like the look of them but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information out there; what made you choose them over the Rovals?

Right now, I'd be more afraid of the garage door.

Those Sagan Superstar builds that have been appearing recently are stunning

How light can you build those? Sub 6KG possible without going crazy on the THM and EE bits?

Well, i have those wheels since last year and there were on my Tarmac SL5 !
I choose those wheels in place of the Campagnolo Bora One because i have a Shimano Dura-Ace groupset...
Fulcrum's wheels are for me a good quality/price and efficiency !
They weight 1395g for clincher 17C...

The Roval's was a little more expensive !!! for the same performance...

Now i have the 2 bikes with Fulcrum, the Speed 40C on the SL6 and the Quattro Carbon on the SL5 :P
