Where to buy Colnago touch up paint ?

I have a few small chips in the paint of my 2009 Colnago Master X Light paint color PR82 that I would like to touch up.

I emailed Colnago asking but got no reply.

Anyone know where I can buy some ?

You might go to a body shop and see if they have the ability to scan the paint to match the pantone. Really though, I've never seen a paint flaw repaired in a manner that looks better than just having a small rock chip. If nothing else a bike with chips is one that's been well ridden.

They do not. I spoke to them several years ago, and they advised a auto paint supplier for touch up.

From experience I think there are at least a few decent options.

I have a friend who had his Colnago CX-1 frame carbon top tube repaired - the repairer cut back an area approx 100mm long to facilitate the repair - the paint job to finish was excellent- difficult area where two colours blend in a very subtle gradient and clear coat over the top made the frame 'as new' again. So you can look for a carbon repairer and ask for some pics of his handy work, or better still some testimonials to contact.

I had my Colnago EP frame touched up by my local panel repair shop spray painter. He is a crafty guy and relishes challenges using his best air brushing equipment, I had a small area of black into metallic silver paint graduated blend touched up and his colour matching was superb as was his clear coat finishing. So also some auto smash repair shops may have a talented painter on staff who has the confidence and patience to listen to your requirements and match them with skill.

I also had a motorcycle helmet touched up where it had a stone chip through both clear top layer and metallic yellow under layer by an airbrush artist who specialised in helmet art. Again in this case, the repair was brilliantly colour matched and the final finish was close to flawless.

I've tried touching up sometimes, and just got the paint from a hobby store. But I sort of agree with @dcdpayne above. Unless you really get a professional job done where they sand and feather back the entire area, a touchup often ends up looking worse than a little rock chip or something.

My C59 is in KOM colour. Colnago sprayed the frame in red first, covered the frame with some polka dot stickers then spray a few coats of white.

If I ever get a chip off the white paint, I simply get more polka dot!

In my case... using manicure, I painted over the dot...

actually the problem is that is difficult to find the same color.....

If you find the same color... It will be great solution...
