Forgive me if this has been asked many times but i understand that Camapg SR 11 speed shifters use a smaller cable end than standard so my question is do generic kits like Jagwire fit okay or are the original Campag ones the best solution when repalcing both inner and outer cables?

Just buy a Campagnolo cable kit. Easy way to get the correct stuff.

That said I have used others as long as you get the cables with the correct heads for campy.

Correct, the gear shifter cable end on Campagnolo cables is smaller than Shimano gear cables. If you try to use the bigger Shimano gear cables in Campagnolo shifters, the end may get permanently stuck in the shifter. I use either Campagnolo or Jagwire inner gear shifter cables on my Campagnolo Ergo shifters. Plain stainless steel. Brake cables have the same end as Shimano and you can use any cables without trouble.

Someone else suggested just buying the Campagnolo kit. May be OK if you need to spend money because your bank account is too large. But I change inner cables much more frequently than outer cables. And Jagwire can be found for much less money than Campagnolo. I'm a fan of saving money when it is this easy.

Looking on Wiggle are these the correct cables as they seem cheaper than Jagwire

Those are Campy cables.

Everyone just assumes Campy must be expensive. No so.

The whole cable kit (brake and shift) is on ribble for 28$, so don't really see a reason to not go with Campy everything unless you need a cable right away. Campagnolo shift cables are $6 here, a couple bucks more than bulk stainless stuff, I don't mind the difference.

I think I got my last set of cables on Ribble for under $25.

Jagwire does make a Campy-specific cable. I've bought some because they were easier to get cheaply on Amazon with Prime. (Ribble is my usual go-to place but just ordering a couple of cables from the UK, was cost and time prohibitive.)

Interestingly, I've can't ever remember a 10 or 11 speed Campy cable going bad on me. I had to replace one because I didn't solder the end and it unraveled on me. Usually, I pick up a new set if I'm building up a new frame.

Here are the Jagwire inner gear cables. $3.98 each. Campagnolo or Shimano/SRAM style.

Couple more places for Jagwire inner gear cables for Campagnolo. $3.99 or $2.72 each.

Cheers for all the replies, I was looking to replace everything just to make sure I have no issues in the near future as I want to do a couple of 150km sportive rides this year.
