Hey

Anyone had the Specialized DeFroster for a while?

How has the heel stood up to usage? It is not replaceable like most other road shoes, which was a big red flag for me when I just checked them out in the bike shop.

Cheers.

i have a pair. yes...the heel is not replaceable...but when i wear those defrosters, i don't get off the bike as much and walk on them. my rides in the winter tend to be less than 30 miles, no stops. had them for one season so far and they have been great.

I've seen Defrosters in a shop. Despite claims they are waterproof there seems to be three ventilation holes at the front covered over with a bit of Sellotape.
