Tech doc say these should only be used with the 7900 sti but would they be fine with the 7700. I hope some has tried this already before I buy them to see if they can be made to work.

(Not answering your inquiry, but piggy-backing on the topic: they work with all SRAM levers)

Do you have a source where they can be purchased? Previous attempts fell short. :(

Ouch! Surprised no one made a carbon version?

Carbon version is cheaper than the Ti:

But there were mixed reviews on whether they held up to rough roads. I remember a few instances of them snapping from use way, way back in the day (like 2007 or 2008, it's been a while since I've read of someone using them)...

Someone also mentioned aluminum ones once, but nothing about those aluminum versions since. :noidea:

QBP has them in the USA ... but you really want the 9000 (Y63X98050) ones they they look even lighter ...bigger cut outs ....However you can't find them and I have tried.... some shops in Japan and the UK distributor show them but no internet shops that I could find have them...

Early reviews of 9000 said they were TI, but none of the places that have them listed say TI... and all the 7900 places say TI but they are the same price...

I am a campy guy and I am assuming that we only need TI band part.. you should be able to use the nut and bolt from whatever shifter you have...

The real reason to use the TI ones is that they don't rust.. the campy ones get all funky in the rain...

I use the btp carbon clamps for red shifters. Been using them for years no issues whatsoever. If you look at the last page of my WW trek you can see some red shifters I have just tuned 189grms pair

Sjs cycles in the u.k have them. Can't get the btp clamps. I'll be buying them on Monday as I get a trade discount.
