Can anyone advise on the ferrule size needed for 10 speed Campagnolo gear and brake cables?

I have searched but found conflicting sizes. I cannot find any official documentation unfortunately

Thanks

Campagnolo does not use ferrules on the brake cables anywhere. Brake housing is spiral wound and does not require them. Campy brakes and shifters are sized thusly.

The current shifters (new shape in 2009), and current "ultra low friction" derailleur housing fits right into the shifter - no ferrule. Ferrules are required at the hard points on the frame and at the RD. Current derailleur housing is 4.2 mm dia. (nominal 4 mm).

Brake housing is 4.8 mm OD.

Pre 2009 is slightly different. Derailleur housing was slightly larger diameter at 4.5 mm and ferrules are used at the shifters. Brake housing diameter has not changed over this period.
