I can't comment on the paint quality or durability but I will vote that it looks amazing and the 2015+ S-Works Tarmac is by all accounts a top-level frameset.

On that note, if you know a good mail-order source for a smokin' deal on this frameset or complete D.A. bike can you please PM me?

Up until very recently I might have made the same silly comment about Specialized. Over the years I've owned a number of Colnago framesets; hand built steel and aluminium; Pinarello; Scott; Simplon etc etc but just built up a 2016 Specialized S-Works Tarmac in Astana team colour and WOW! Certainly on par with any of the aforementioned in terms of ride quality and the paint finish is absolutely flawless. Built up with Campag Record, it's well stunning. Gallery pics to follow.

I have Sworks satin gloss matte painted bike.
Paint quality is superb. After many km not even a single stone chip mark in fork or downtube and it is supposedly the lightest paint coat.

From my experience quality is top and I would choose again the same bike

The bike itself rides amazing and fantastic. I am not sure why they chose to just put the logos over the clear like that. They were flaking off of all the bikes and a fingernail could peel the rest off. It isn't like that on the Amira, oddly.
Don't take me too seriously. The only person that doesn't hate Froome.

I rode a demo S-Work Tarmac 2016 for a few weeks and I can't believe how impressed I was with the bike. I am actually considering buying, I've never been crazy with their paint job or look but price quality this is very smart buy.
