I am thinking of getting one of these for my 29er with a wider bar. I really like the weight/price on these stems. Accetone the stem and ti bolts and you have a winner.

There's quite a few different models on ebay, I was quite confused when ordering but ended up with the Kalloy Uno Nine: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-2013-KALLOY ... 1065108370?

Hasn't arrived yet, but will definitely be taking the acetone to it!

Do you even need the ti washers? Dump them and less weight

From looking at loads of listings, the 7 seems to be the lightest - the 9 is listed for MTB as well as road, so I assume it's slightly stronger? 6 and 7 seem to be for road, with 7 being a higher grade / lighter alloy. I ordered a 7.

Chances are they're identical with different graphics though. :D

I'll be hitting mine with the acetone and have ordered some Ti bolts too, will weigh it once it's here.

Well it arrived today! 10 days from Taiwan to the UK.

The 'nine' I bought is in fact a 'six' according to the graphics. But I'm not complaining, weight is only 3g over. It's a 90mm.

And the 'six' i bought is in fact a 'nine' according to the graphics on the other side of te stem, lol. It's a 90mm and the seller anounced the weight 97gr (+-5gr). The prices was around 23 bucks with postage cost included.

I received a 100mm stem just like the OP yesterday (weight 108g) and thinking of just ordering m5x16mm ti bolts w/o washers as this would be the same amount of threads as m5x17.5mm w/ washers but lighter and cheaper. The original bolts measured closer to 17.5mm in length to me with the washers about 1.2mm in width.

So do m5 stem bolts really need washers at the head?

Mine's a Uno 7 stripped with Acetone and fitted with Ti bolts and washers. After stripping, with the standard bolts it weighed 98.1g. I forgot to weigh it with the Ti bolts fitted.
