record 11 right thumb shifter won't move

after living with Record for a few months, i have found that it happened less and less- like once a week and now never. i think it was indeed rider error-possibly exacerbated by new hoods that were fouling the path back for the thumb shifter.

I've not read the full thread, but IME wrapping the bar tape too tightly can cause this to happen as the cable becomes to tight to release properly.
