handlebar, 26.0 mm, classic bend, big drop...
Moderator: robbosmans
What are the options for a 26.0 mm handlebar, with a classic bend and a big drop? I have my eye on a Merckx-bend 3ttt Super Competizione handlebar, which offers a perfect 15.8 mm drop, but I'm a bit concerned about its weigth and its dark grey color (black or polished alu would look better)
And if I ever meet an aardvark, I'm going to step on its damn protruding nasal implement until it couldn't suck up an insect if its life depended on it.

agreed, deda 215 deep drop, road this bar for many years, loved it! i don't know if it's still available, maybe place an ad in 'wtb' section or check ebay?
you can always get a classic CInelli Giro d'Italia bar. They're not super light, but they meet your other criteria. If that isn't deep enough or have enough reach, they also still make the Model 65 Criterium. Both 26mm clamp, anodized silver.
I have been looking without success for the opposite for my steel Pinarello Record- a 25.4 or 26mm clamp bar with shallow drop and short reach, something shaped like the Easton EC90 SLX3. I am not sure if this even exists.

The Giro D'Italia Cinelli isn't the deep drop version.
That was model 64?
The deep drop version was the Campionissimo Del Mondo model 66. That bar was DEEP.
Loved using them but hard to find these days.
