No, they don't. And for many (myself included), they are far more comfortable than padded saddles.bilwit wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2018 1:01 amthe bare carbon/non-padded saddles don't eat up your bibs?JackRussellRacing wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2018 6:35 pmAnother Berk Lupina arrived Now, I'll have the same throne on both my bikes. Been on my Lupina all last season w/o damaging any bibs. It's good to go!prendrefeu wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2018 1:24 amNo, they don't. What did I buy today? I paid for my front wheel build w/Extralite CyberFront SP hub, KMC-11SL chain, XG1190 11x26t cassette, DSP black bar tape, Rock'n'Roll Gold, etc. Good times! I'm ready for spring to spring...
Bare carbon saddle apetite for bibs is not for all individuals. Unfortunately I am one of those that gets my bibs thrashed. I have yet to try a carbon saddle that doesn’t chew up my bibs badly. And I have tried many brands and variants. The only one that works for me is the Selle Italia CX Zero, it doesn’t have those nasty sharp edges.

Not in my personal experience. I rode about 50 miles with 8'000 climb yesterday on the new Berk. Zero issues with the saddle, and one PR on a big 2+ mile, cat 2 climb.
