I'm curious about this one (looking for those hubs for a reliable build)!
Please give us more details...:-" After 1200 miles the hubs are" ... waste... ?
I assume you like them still, if you bought 4 of them, or it's because of price ?

Ordered a set of the Sidi Ergo 2 Vernice in the Bettini World Championship color. Not a bad pick up at ~$220 since I really need a new set of road shoes. Hopefully the gold on the shoes will reflect the sun's rays into the other riders eyes and blind them so that I can ride away from them.

Those shiny shoes are very nice! I ordered a pair last year, but returned them after they arrived as they didn't fit as well as my Carbon 6.6s. Still at $220, I might try them again--where do I get that price?
Today, I ordered a SRAM Red front derailleur, as my experiment with using a Record 10 didn't work--with my gearing combination (42/50), not in general perhaps. Shouldn't make a big impact on the overall weight, fortunately.

53x12 they are hooooot shoes!!!
I pulled out the tape measure and found out that I can in fact fit my 595 that I thought was too large - that to me constitutes almost buying something! As i thought I was going to have to sell it! Seat post and steerer get sliced tomorrow - there will be pics
God I am excited!

I would hazard a guess he is talking of a Michelin tyre rather than a Hope hub!

Thanks. I can't wait to get them in the mail. I'm sure my ridding buddies will give me a hard time the first time I wear them. But who cares.

got me a pair of downtube shifters ( i will feel sorry later ) to replace the 7800 sti s
i needed the 7800 sti s for another bike and this will do for the short rides on the steel commuter bike
mayby i will have some 7900 sti s when they come cheaper
i had some 7400 brake levers left so it will fit nice
looks like there days you can only get entry level or ultegra brake levers without shifting
