Bar Tape cleaning help

The Wife's bike HAD to have white tape...now it's dirty, what do you guys use to clean it - I've tried Muc-Off + Finish Line cleaners as well as regular soap and water. Besides changing it, what's the best thing to use to get the dirt out??

If it's handgrease, window cleaner works wonders(also on your keyboard), if it's oil/grease, naphta or Swarfega

Use a clean rag and try simple green, alcohol or as mentined windex. You need to scrub it pretty good.

Use a scrub ninja. Used typically for car interiors but works well.

I'd just be mindful of the ingredients of products you're using on bar tape given how much we touch our faces during rides.

Well, back in the day, when soap and water failed, I used to use methanol. That tends to dissolve grease stains.
Its aggressive but not like acetone agressive.
