yes, I rode on October 4-11. Temperatures over 20 C, maybe 16-18 above 2000m elevation. The weather turned to normal temps only yesterday.

Reading what he says he is absolutely gutted... he will not enjoy seeing jubilant Andrew Feather at the end of my video.

Anyhow, The Struggle is essentially an alternative Kirkstone Pass. Ed's Strava shows it at 4.27km long with 369m of up. This is way longer than a usual UK HC course. It starts very steeply, the middle is rolling, there's a significant downhill (he has a max speed of 51kph in this effort) then it ends with an extended fierce ramp.

Was riding under a bridge and heard something that sounded like a flag flapping in the wind. Looked up and was a bit surprised to see a BASE jumper land about 100 feet from me. First time for everything.
