The south seems to be warmer. But spring is coming here at lake zurich as well.
Spring is in full swing in Tennessee, and it's beautiful!
Rye grass ... maybe?
I love it when everything is fresh after a morning rain!

TonyM: that’s a big group. Where do you guys meet up and where do you ride. I’m pretty familiar with the Fraser Valley.

United Velo Langley.

Start in Cloverdale, then to Golden Ears bridge, then through the Valley and back to Cloverdale for approx. 100 km in total.
I joined UV a few weeks ago. Nice people. However I still have to get used to the mid-ride coffee stop (not usual where I lived before in France, Germany and Switzerland ...)...
My usual Saturday rides are longer (6 hours) so that I do a few loops more west from Fort Langley or up to Abbotsford/Matsqui after the club ride.
BTW I am the only one with a Colnago in the group it seems....95% with Spezialized, Trek, Cannondale and Giant.

The snow cliffs in Edinburgh aren't quite as big as some, but they feel epic to ride through!

Thanks for all the kind words!, I'm happy that some of the magic I experienced was able to to reach you.dereksmalls wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 4:11 am
Woah! That looks amazing! Truly stunning scenery. Did you do the climbs that Sky did? Any random pros out there secretly training?
Yes there was some protour riders on the island. I passed Aru and 4-5 of his teammembers, some EF-Drapac riders and a couple of Astana guys. I spent one night at the Paredores hotel on Teide where I ran into Moscon, Diego Rosa, Boom, Roglic, Mohoric, Possovivo, Moreno and a few others. I was there with my 7 year old soon who likes to ride Mtb and he was all exited to haunt autographs. They all treated him nicely and while we were eating dinner he made a drawing for Lars Boom and Primoz Roglic each who were also dinning in the restaurant. They were super nice to him asking him about his mtb-riding and when they left the restaurant they came over to wish him a good night. He was so proud and still is.
