I did wonder,
Between what WW was (drilling being the extreme) and what it is now, I thought about this “attention to detail” where weight is one aspect as RR, aero, compliance stiffness, drivetrain efficiency… of an overall optimised bike

I agree with this. For me it is making sure every aspect of myself is optimised, but for that type of ridding/bike. So I take a bike I have/love and get it as dialed as possible for weight/RR and aero. I also obsess over kit and position. I even bought a garmin 130 just for use on a hill climb to save weight 😂

Perhaps we can come up with some more apt slogans than "attention to detail", which I quite like tbf. I'm not saying these are any better, just trying to kick off some thoughts:

It all adds up
Everything counts

This is good! Obviously applies to mass, but also everything else.
Or: "Lighten up!"

About the designs - could we find a designer on this board ? the proposed designs are ok but quite predictable. A modern color palette?

These are some kits i quite liked from searching through other clubs no pinz designs. Im fully sold on the kit being more modern and pro. ImageImageImage

Like those two too, they convey something along the lines of « yes weight, but goes beyond just weight ».

I'd wear something like that, maybe with some subtle sponsor logos too, but not at all keen on the ant thing or phrases tbh.

I defer to those with more passion for design, but offer a single piece of advice: avoid white. A single splash of grease and the kit is never the same. Sun block cream can also be tough on white. Over time will look dingy. This is particularely true anywhere in the pocket or zipper area where grimy hands and gloves are in regular contact.

Skip all the ants, if it has to be, then only one on the breast and maybe incorporate the slogan "The UCI has no jurisdiction here"

Here is a simple T-shirt I had made.( I changed the text later). The logo might be protected though.

It would be super if you could have your bike weight printed on it when ordering or those seethrough pockets for numbers where you could place a placard with your bikes weight and change it when going down.

And a choice of colour to match the bike. I wouldn't like to ride a red bike with a green jersey f.x.
