Just sharing my Hyper 35 with RD270 and carbon spokes. 28mm Vittoria Graphene 2.0.

Initial impression is that it holds speed better than my roval alpinist clx 1 at 40-45kph, maybe because its stiffer with carbon spokes or maybe its was just a good day for my legs lol. I have yet to try it in longer climbs in my area so i'll just update this post once I do.

What cassette are you running there? It looks like it has a single black sprocket (largest one)? I'm in two minds whether to try a Sixwheel - saves 50g over DA but shifting might be cr@p.

Its just a force 10-36 so I have a bail out gear when needed. I don't like to experiment with sram since i've read a lot of problems with compatibility. A few though have succeeded mating shimano/sram.

Man...these wheels are TEMPTING - 50mm deep, 30 external, 24 internal, glossy UD, carbon spokes. 36t Ratchet hub.

Currently the best all-around wheels I've reviewed including value have been my Magene EXAR DB508 Ultras. 50/58 deep, 23int, 30int, carbon spokes, ceramic bearings, ratchet hub. Paired with 30c GP5000s and they are a dream on the road. Now even going back to 28c tires on 21mm internal wheels feels a bit harsh.

Would definately like to hear your review on these carbon spoke wheels, and comparison to other wheels you have reviewed. I think price wise, they would definately be on TOP.

I have the same wheels and they are amazing on the climbs. Long gradients, and the steeper the better. Best wheels I've used.

After a short exchange of emails, I received an offer for USD 899 for Hyper 50/58 carbon spokes on an R270 hub. So I had no choice but to pull the trigger. I hope to have a Roval Clx1 for sale soon

Rode my carbon spoke hypers for a week on Mallorca. They feel really good both going up and down, nice and light on the climbs and responsive on the decends. I barely missed out on going sub 30 on Sa Calobra (humble brag I know), but the wheels feel like the last thing to blame.
I them with 28mm clincher GP5000s which measure slightly below 30mm, which is pretty much ideal with these rims

These come with Campy N3W freehub body.

They also come with no holes in the rim bed; supposedly easier tubeless set up/harder maintenance.

What is the depth ot the wheels? 45mm? Or perhaps 40mm?

There is a new rim 40mm, 24int./30ext, 1.335g. I have just ordered this set, but did not see them live how it looks on a bike.

The new Superteam S-All series do look very nice, and while a hole free rim bed is a nice extra, I'm not sure I see why it is gaming changing? Rim tape is relatively light and easy to install.

True but I really don't want to have the extra mess of having the tape. I run tape on MtB and most of the years during season change from summer to winter tire the tape is glued to the tire by the sealant and it peels off. So basically I end up buying new tape. Without tape you have one less trouble with tubeless. Moreover it's nice to true the wheels from outside.

I didn't choose the super team for few reasons:
- hub has open slots for spokes which might be prone to failure if the spokes get out
- price is higher
- the waves on the rim are a copy of Pinarello track bike seatube and seat post but on the contrary there are no studies by super team about aero performance
- one guy on YouTube broke the ratchet inside a super team hub while climbing

That's also what Farsports does on all their (only hookless?) rims, no? It's hard to say they write

On each product on wheelsfar.com but it's not always true I believe - I have rims from them (FS45/30GH; i.e. hooked) via reseller from oem.farsports.cn) with holes?
