Thy can only produce limited amount of wheels per month while there are/were apparently tons of orders. As a result they locked the website for new orders and there is some kind of notification system.
-> I contacted the BC support asking when the next badge will be available and they created my order for me manually. I had to wait for about 2 months until delivery, everything went smooth and nice.

Unfortunately not, still have them in the original shipping boxes (see page 4). I expect to make first kilometers = experiences on them around next month when my new bike is completed...

Has anyone seen the tubular versions of these yet? With the price of the clincher version coming down, it'd be nice to see the tubular version come down in price too. It seems Schmolke is still the only one.

Does anyone know about the quality of the hubs they are using? I'm all for a fantastic deal on some carbon hoops, but at the end of the day I want top performance... though I'm not willing to fork out 4k on a set of wheels... haha

The hubs seem to be from Newmen/Syntace. Personally I'm also waiting for some reviews and handson experience from fellow weenies.

I heard they are very similar to the Syntace hubs since they were designed by the same guy and they're made in Germany too.

Another thing I've noticed is that though they look identical to the Schmolke TLO rims, they are narrower - Schmolkes are 27 mm wide with 17.6 mm internal whereas the braided rims from bike-components/aerycs are 24 mm and 17.5 mm respectively. So though the rims may indeed be made on the same machine, they are being made to a different spec and may use different resins/carbon and so forth. Sadly, we're probably not getting uber cheap Schmolke wheels here.

All these rims are made by Munich Composites AFAIK.
