Hi All - I'm looking for a new wheelset. I have the new Bora 35s (amazing braking) and Zipp 303 Firecrest (marginal braking).

I've been contemplating Enve 4.5 (but wait for the 2.2 brake surface) or Ax Lightness 55s.

I've read lots about Enve braking, but little about AX Lightness braking.

Anyone on here have experience? How about vs Zipp Firecrest or the new Campy surface on the Boras?

Thanks!

For what it matters, i have heard people complain of Enves brake surface and some like it.

Not owning any Enve, so i can't compare really.

For AX wheels, i would say difference is minuscule between Easton Aero 55, Mavic CCU and Stream 38.

For dry rim, Black prince is good as it has nice modulation, yellow is perhaps better in wet as it is a less hard pad composition.

But which rim is great in wet? I think none if i am allowed to be honest.

I asked AX of brake tracks, and they are believers in flat slick brake tracks.

Basalt is told to chip in due time so they do not use that either.

No experience with Campa.
