Two R3s that I haven't seen before! Both look great, but the one with LWs is really cool! The problem with wheels is solved. Today I was informed that I'll be given a pair of Ambrosio F20 rims for Christmas ;) I was looking for dt 240 hubs, but on eBay they're expensive and in Poland I found a set, but for 32 holes and I need 28 version. I think that I'll end up buying those hubs from bikehubstore.com as they're very cheap, light and pretty reliable according to opinions I'd read. However, if you know a place where I can get at least rear hub (campy 28h) for a decent price, let me know! BTW, what tubs would you recommend for a daily use? I was thinking about Vittoria CR or Rally or Tufo S33 ones. Please don't advice to get a pair of Veloflex of Corsa evo - I'll get them when I get a pair of carbon hoops for racing ;)

Yup, Wertykal ;] Guys, I need a piece of advice. I can get a pair of white dt240s hubs and I'm wondering if it's gonna look good with black spokoes and Crono rims plus is it gonna match whole bike scheme? I think that it won't look too bad, but my gf says it will look awful ;] What say you?

White hubs, black spokes, white rims would look awesome! Look at the 2012 Ksyrium Equipes in white.......almost bought a set just because they look awesome, even if they are crappy boat-anchors.

Yeah, but I already own a pair of Crono rims which are in titanium-greyish colour or something like that. I'm worried that white hubs could make those wheels look a bit weird. I love how they look here: http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4084/5192 ... c84e_z.jpg

Nice rig
More pics would be welcomed.
Have you sorted out hubs problem? If not, take into consideration Dati hubs. Cheaper than dt and significantly lighter (260g).
Recently I built a set of clinchers using these hubs. So far put about 1000km on them and they roll really nice with the 52 tooth they sound beautifully :)
Also no complaints about 277g set of hubs I got from Brandon (bikehubstore). They are paired with 50mm carbon tubies.
Price/weight ration hard to beat.

Hi Chris,

You're totally right, but I paid for my 240s only a tad more than for Dati hubs. They will make my wheels a bit heavier, but I really like the sound, simplicity and durability of DT hubs. And since I've bought white version which I actually didn't like, I decided to paint them in matte black. More pictures to come, probably after 24th of February with new hoops and slr saddle. I'm waiting for black ti bolts as well, but it's gonna be only a small change.

Today I gave the frame to my LBS as some cracks had developed around the bb area and chainstays. Waiting for information about what and when I get as a replacement.

Frame arrived today, but with wrong bottom bracket. Can't change the crank due to the power2max device. I can either wait for the bb from Cervelo (another 3 weeks?) or buy it by myself. I'm speechless.

Nice bike mate. I would say that is lighter than you say.

Cheers
